I am facing an issue with timer Job feature:
timer jobs is not activate from the feature this feature scop is: site collection.

The EXECUTE permission was denied on the object ‘proc_putObject’, database ‘SharePoint_Config’, schema ‘dbo’
Intially i thought becuase of i don’t have some permissions on “SharePoint_Config” DB.I gave all permissions, but no luck.
I struggled 3 to 4 hr on this……….. Finally i found the root cause of the issue.
The timer job scop should be farm, but i am running with site collection when i tried to active at site level the account name which current application pool is not having that permissions.
So to solve this issue - Add farm admin to your application pool or change the scop to farm and deploy with form admin account.
