System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException: Error HRESULT E_FAIL has been returned from a call to a COM component

Check for Automation DLL not in your source code
Check for IE9 Settings, its not running in compatibility mode.

IE9--> tools -->compatibility settings

Check "Dispaly all websites in compatibility view".
