SharePoint 2013 promote results not working after adding Query Rules

Problem: I have added Query Rules to get promote results in SharePoint 2013, still i am not able to see any promote results.
Root cause: You might not enable "Show promoted results" in Search result web part

Solution:
Go to search result web part
Click on edit web part
Expand "Settings"
Check "Show promoted results"
Ok
Save
